Jesus is clear: Love ’em, Bless ’em, Pray for ’em! Period! Our problem is receiving the strength to overcome our own demand for justice by remembering that the justice we deserved was sentenced upon Christ and divine pardon, instead, was awarded to us. Our decision to our enemies is to treat them as God treats us! No exceptions! (God help us)

This is one of the passages that convicts me about the high priority of prayer in ministry BEFORE we make decisions about ministry. Aggressive and deliberate intimacy with & dependence upon God is our part if God is to do His part in accomplishing His ministry in us.
